These are scans of the 2008 Oregon Attorney General's Public Records and Meetings Manual. This manual is copyrighted by the Oregon DOJ. I have posted it without their permission, despite their explicit warning to me that it not be redistributed. You can go here to buy a dead tree version from the DOJ for $25, or download mine free.

According to the Oregonian and DOJ Spokesperson Tony Green, Attorney General John Kroger is currently considering what action to take against me for illegally posting these documents online. See http://openuporegon.com for details.

As James Madison said,

"A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy; or, perhaps both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance: And a people who mean to be their own Governors, must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives."

Given that this very quote is prominently posted on the cover of the same manual which AG John Kroger is trying to keep off the internet, I hold with those who favor farce.
